â Breaststoke Masterclass
We have secured 8 places for the 'Art of Breaststroke' masterclass at Sevenoaks school on Saturday 25th September 2.15-7.15. The course will be run by Nick Gillingham, double Olympic medallist and former World, European and Commonwealth Champion. The money was donated by Rebekah Noakes and Mike Bond from their Jack Petchey Award. In order to apply to attend swimmers must be aged 10-16. 9 year olds may submit an application but MUST have a Kent time in the breaststroke. There will be a list on the noticeboard from Thursday evening and removed on Thursday 16th September. A draw will take place on Monday 20th September. Swimmers will be notified of their success the same day. Good luck!!!
â Outstanding fees
All, at a Committee meeting of the Club this evening the level of arrears of squad fees and non payment of ASA fees was again discussed. It is disappointing to see that significant fees remain outstanding and that payments have not been amended to this year's amounts despite notices being issued. It is vital for the future of the club that everyone pays the correct amounts on time and I will be issuing up to date statements for every swimmer over the weekend which will either be handed to parents or posted out next week. Please check this information carefully and if you have any queries please contact me at membership@orpingtonojays.com. All accounts will be expected to be up to date by the end of October or an acceptable repayment plan agreed and in place. Any swimmer whose account remains in arrears at that time will not be permitted to swim for the club or enter any competition until the account has been brought up to date. Thank you for your assistance.
